Webwright is a sole trader web design business based in Western Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
Who we are
Webwright builds and hosts websites for Australian local businesses. When this policy says "we" or "us" it means Webwright. You can reach us any time at contact@webwright.com.au.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. If you fill in the free-build form on this site, that is:
- Your business name
- Your Google listing or website link, if you give one
- Your email address
- Your agreement to this policy when you tick the consent box
We do not ask for sensitive information, and please do not send any. We do not buy or collect information about you from anywhere else.
Why we collect it
We use these details for one thing: to build your free sample site and email you the link, then to talk with you about it if you want to go ahead. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we never sell them.
How your form is sent
When you submit the form, it is delivered to us through Web3Forms, a form-handling service that passes the message to our email. Web3Forms is operated outside Australia, so your details may be handled overseas in the course of sending us your enquiry. We use it only to receive your message, not to store or analyse it. Hosting and cookies
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The hosting provider may log basic, standard request information such as IP addresses for security and to keep the site online. We do not set tracking cookies, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as we are in contact about your website, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. If you ask us to delete it, we will, unless we are required to keep a record for tax or legal reasons.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We only share it with the services that make this site and our work run, which currently are the form provider and our email and hosting providers named above. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No website or email can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so please do not send anything you would not be comfortable sending by email.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email contact@webwright.com.au and we will sort it out. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. The version on this site is always the current one.
